Hi all. I’m looking for an iOS app that uses preferably Google maps or similar using GPS to track where I have walked.
From what I can see in Google maps there is no tracking option. And in the Apple health app it only tells you how many steps you have done. We use track my iPhones but there’s no option there either.

I’m starting to walk a lot and run so would be good to know how far and where I have been. I am not fussed about timing myself etc.

We were in In NYC last month and we had to try convert steps to miles. 28 miles in total over 5 days. But it would have been great to have seen exactly where we had walked as we were repeating ourselves a little.

Cheers in advance!

Thanks all. Have downloaded both of the Under Armour (now own my fitness pal) walk/run apps which seem to use Apple Maps. Also Endomondo so will see which I prefer.

And Cyclemetre for cycling - it's really the same app.

Map my walk
Is the correct answer.

Map My Walk by UnderArmour to give it the full title.

Free and works brilliantly. Saves all your walks, shows your calories burned, logs all the routes and GPS tracks. Easy to use.

5 stars from me.

Maybe I did it wrong, but Map my Walk needed a lot of permissions from my privacy's.

Is there any reason I could not use it for cycling as well?

My present App is Run Keeper

I used to use map my walk/run/ride but have since moved to the free version of Strava. I prefer that.
