Almost three weeks of lockdown - how are you feeling?
Discussion
Now that we're approaching three weeks of lockdown, how are you feeling?
Maybe you live with family and you're enjoying spending more time with them. Maybe they're driving you mad...
Perhaps you live alone and it's business as usual or maybe you're feeling a touch isolated?
Are you exercising more or finding it difficult to get motivation to leave the the house?
How is working from home/not working at all impacting your well-being?
I'm interested to hear how everybody's feeling - mentally and physically.

Stressed highly as have garbage neighbour.
Drinking way to much.
Going to bed very late and getting up even later.
Absolutely hate it. Ive always loved my freedom and this is really hard for me.
Id love to be out in my 7 or fishing by the side of a lake somewhere.
Anywhere that I dont have to listen to screaming chav wasters who couldnt give a toss about anyone but themselves.

No doubt having bad neighbours at this time is a nightmare.Drinking way to much.

Try to limit the booze, get plenty of rest and plenty of exercise.
Physically fine, put a little weight on as not been out exercising in my spare time but working Mon - Fri and getting my exercise from that, to a degree.
Living with one of my younger brothers, but we don't get on so just keep out each others way, other brother is staying at my mums fellas house with them for a bit for company for my mum as she's classed as vulnerable.
Mentally, hating having time off from work and not having anything to fill it with (partly because I'm lazy, I'll admit). But I'd normally be out refereeing on weekend and evening or meeting mates, which is obviously down the pan at the moment.
So mentally, still OK and don't think I'll get too bad as still going to work, i feel for those who aren't working and have to stay at home. I couldn't do it.
Stay safe, stay well everyone.

I got a letter and text telling me i need to stay inside for another 12 weeks.
Not sure how i feel about staying at home for another 3 months, going to run out of things to fix!
Fix yourself and you can then go out Not sure how i feel about staying at home for another 3 months, going to run out of things to fix!

A few Youtube video's, and kitchen cutlery is all you need
It's great.
I am loving it and hope it goes on longer.
I understand that this is working well for me and is not the same for everyone but I'm in my happy groove here.
Simply not missing the rat race at all. My mental state is much improved and I had no idea I was so stressed before all this.

I hope you don't mind me asking; is that in addition to the original 12 week isolation for the vulnerable. My daughter is in the same bracket and we've had nothing adding any time to the original 12 weeks. Not sure how i feel about staying at home for another 3 months, going to run out of things to fix!

I wasn't getting out much pre-lockdown, but I miss even the limited excursions outside the house I had. But I'm getting by: I'm guaranteed a delivery per week by Sainsbury's, their delivery guys are being great and putting food in a fridge in the garage to quarantine before I bring it indoors, neighbours are picking up prescriptions and posting letters for me etc, and I'm having virtual drinks with various groups of friends via Zoom or Houseparty.
Exercising a lot but I did that anyway ,eating too much in between the exercise but I did that anyway.
Not enough good stuff on tv ,with there being zero sport.
I'll be going out again for more walking about 11pm ,nice n quiet.
My mental health is quite fragile most of the time so no real change there TBH ,I'm quite a solitary person most of the time.

No income for three weeks now, lost both my jobs. Not finding it very easy if I'm honest - using to getting up and out every morning for 30 odd years, and now - nothing.Taking the dog out keeps me sane. What makes it much worse is all the
s from the nearby urban conurbations have been coming out here to the Peak District countryside in breach of lockdown which means a police presence that I get dragged into. So not only have I lost my livelihood that I loved, I now cannot really enjoy the fresh countryside air of my own backyard because of selfish thick self-satisfied urbanites. Had a spectacular Calzone tonight, so it's not all bad.

Prior to this I had 2 income streams, one has all but gone, but I'm sort of enjoying that fact as it means I have more time on my hands.
Currently working one week in the office, one week at home. Spending more time with the kids, more time on my gaming PC, more time to get jobs done. Walk with the dog once a day does me.
All in all, not bad.

I still have a job paying 100% salary as does my wife (for now) so my problems are small compared with some of relatives and neighbours who’ve all been furloughed or let go.
Working from home and my sleep pattern is totally buggered so I’m currently sleeping from 1am - 9 / 10am and then starting my day.
Work won’t roll over holidays to next year so I’m now down to 4 days a week until July to use them all up as my actual holidays have all been cancelled.
Eating too much and not exercising enough. I had started running locally but one evening I overheard some people - who really shouldn't have been out themselves (looked over 75) - that 'ThEre ArE SoooOOO MaNy pEOpLe rUNnIng NoW?' and it made me feel self-concious and I've not been out again.
Running out of jobs to do round the house which means I’m bored and spending money on things to keep me entertained.
I’ve enjoyed this weekend though. I washed my motorbike and adjusted the chain. Washed the car. Fixed the wisteria on the front of the house and then relaxed in the garden for a few hours this afternoon and enjoyed the sun.
I am enjoying the working from home but miss riding my bike.
Very tempted to rip up the garden patio and re-do it but I know I'll either get stuck waiting for supplies or I'll get bored and be stuck with an unfinished patio!
