Tobacco without filter how bad
Discussion
That's rather like asking whether crashing into a brick wall at 100mph is better for you than at 110mph. Either will ensure you have a very bad day.
Filters were added to cigarettes to enhance flavour, cool and smooth the smoke. The amount of toxin they stop is really neither hear or there.

I have no evidence for you because the evidence there is is conflicting: the problem is that because cannabis is illegal in most places, doing decent studies is problematic. There's some evidence to suggest unfiltered cigarette smoking is worse for your lungs but there's also a theory that filters increase your risk because they encourage you to inhale more deeply.
I also suspect the "1 zoot is as bad as 20 cigarettes" thing is as made up a trope as "we only use 10% of our brains". Having said that, when you're smoking J's you're inhaling various nasty chemicals that wreck your lungs both from the tobacco and from the cannabis. It's not going to be good for you. The risk will be related to total exposure; if you smoked a few doobies a month for a couple of years at Uni, your risk will be relatively low. If you smoke 5 spliffs a day and do so for 20 years, your lungs (and probably your brain) will let you know about it.

I agree don’t smoke is the way to go... obviously. Replace the habit with better ways I guess.
To be honest now I think about the second poster was right, either way it’s a crash. 3 days clean now btw
well done, keep it up. Does get easier. Do it on your terms now rather than later following a cancer diagnosis. To be honest now I think about the second poster was right, either way it’s a crash. 3 days clean now btw

As someone who used to enjoy the odd smoke I remember you would feel it in your lungs the next day, cannabis burns a thicker smoke compared to tobacco so when mixed with tobacco I can believe that would be more harmful than a cigarette.
I moved to vaping the stuff for a while, far far cleaner and without the powerful smell you get from a joint

The "chemicals" in marijuana are nowhere near as bad as in tobacco. I also suspect the "1 zoot is as bad as 20 cigarettes" thing is as made up a trope as "we only use 10% of our brains". I'm 7 years clean this September.
Can't remember what all the fuss was about!
I used a drug from my Doctor for a couple of months to help.
Champix I think.
Real easy to do.
Do people still smoke tobacco?
Its all steam and sweetie flavours where I am.

I’m not sure that there is objective information to support that assertion, though you may be right. I’d be happy to be educated with the relevant evidence. The weed I smoke has nothing added, grown in the ground without any chemical intervention.
