Physio For Old Person ?

Does anybody know if there is such a service as a physio for an old person.
By that I mean somebody who would come to somebody's house and help/assist them with some exercises ?
My mother had arthritis in her lower back making it difficult to walk about.
I'm out at work all day and she sits in her chair or lays down on her bed when uncomfortable.
Sometimes I get her outside for a little walk as she needs help to walk over the front door step. But as I'm not there during the day she can't go outside.
At least if somebody came to visit her during the day it would also be something to look forward to (hopefully !)

Do you want a stranger visiting your elderley mother alone? Perhaps medication for arthritis and then a visit to an older person's exercise class (pilates etc) might be beneficial? I completely understand what you mean about her having something to look forward to - especially in these times it's not easy for the elderley and slightly infirm to be really positive.
