Replacement running trainers

So the time has come to replace my current Nike Zoom Pegasus 32 trainers and really struggling to find something suitable. I have had my current pair for a good few years and over that time I have only been an occasional runner. I used to do a few Parkruns or the very odd 5-7miles, I'm looking to get into more regular running and starting from scratch again really.

I love the fit and comfort of the Pegasus 32 and due to the covid situation (and being a higher risk) I am trying to avoid going to a running shop, so the obvious answer appeared to be the latest model Pegasus 37. I bought a pair of these and the seem very narrow and no where near as comfortable, I have run approx 10miles in them and just not getting on with them at the moment.

I have also purchased the recently released Zoom Tempo NEXT% and again they seem very narrow and lacking in comfort, admittedly I haven't yet took these ones out for a run as I am thinking of sending them back.

Any suggestions?

First off, try the running thread in the Sports forum.
Second, I like ASICS.

Epic React 2 Flyknit. There are loads on ebay new.

They are slightly wider than other Nike running shoes and very comfortable.

I have wide feet and the standard (not wide) Brooks Ghost 13 is what I bought. They were the only ones I tried on as I instantly knew they were comfortable. The last time I went to a specialist shop for trail boots, I tried on about 6 pairs of various Merrel and bought the ugliest ones simply as they were the most comfortable. You can’t beat going to a shop but I understand your predicament but I’m more than happy with the Ghost 13.
