On a serious note, have you ever had any substance misuse issues and how have you dealt with them?
t who needed discipline bringing the whole issue down meaning less people take it seriously? My son has an ADHD diagnosis, along with aspergers amongst a couple of other things.
I'd be interested to know how old you were when diagnosed?
If you were diagnosed young have you any insight as to how your condition developed or changed during your teenage years? (he's 12, so on the cusp of significant hormonal changes anyway)
I know the aspergers generally goes sideways during puberty, it would be interesting to know if the adhd is the same.
Do you find being off your meds an advantage at times? Being able to concentrate on multiple things at once? or does it all get a bit too noisy?
