Who can I get to look at my foot?

A weird question, I know! 
I've got a painful spot on the sole of one foot which at a best guess I think may be a splinter which has had a callous form over it. Most of the time I don't notice it, but it's right over one of the studs on my rugby boots, so if the ground is at all hard, that reminds me to do something about it!
Needless to say, come Monday morning, I forget all about it again!
So, who do you go to with this sort of thing? I doubt a pharmacist can do much about it, and waiting 4 months to show it to my GP over a video call hardly seems ideal! Equally. It's 100% clearly not an A&E case, and our nearest minor injuries unit (apart from St George's in Tooting who just put you in the A&E queue with a lower priority
) seems to be several time zones away from Surrey.
Is this something where I'm going to have to shell out a minimum consultancy fee with a chiropodist or someone similar? If so, and if my supposition turns out to be correct, what are they actually going to be able to do about it?

Is it on the ball of the foot ( the raised bit over the base of the toes)? If so it could be a Morton’s neuroma, a (benign) nerve swelling rather than a splinter. Best to ask your GP to look at it.
If there’s a long wait though any chiropodist should be able to diagnose this condition.

I had a 3' blackthorn splinter in the sole of my foot from doing some hill sprints (barefoot)in the garden of a house we were renting in the Alps, stayed in three for about 3 months until it became unbearable, first my wife gouged a huge hole then a nurse had a go then finally my Dr who had to put a local anaesthetic, pain scale of around 11/10.

Just find a local chiropodist & hand over £40/60. You'l come out with lovely soft feet as well.

I have a probably unfairly stereotypical view that if I go to a chiropodist, I will somehow find myself legally obliged to only ever wear Farrah slacks and Hush Puppies for the rest of my life! Also, being a typical bloke, I took a look at it just now and thought "what's the worst that can happen if try trimming it with toenail clippers"?
Turns out the answer was "nothing bad, and I'm now out walking the dog felling absolutely fine", so I reckon it was just a particularly hard, localised callous digging into the soft flesh underneath!
£50 saved!
