Teeth whitening

Having worked from home for 10 year and constantly drinking coffee, it's time.
Not after Hollywood A list, just better, like 10 year ago
Recommendations?
Regular dentist offers 'Boutique teeth whitening' which seems alright but trying to get more info, before signing up

Have you given charcoal toothpaste a go? Made difference for me and even if it doesn't work out it's only £2-3 for a try.

Do a search. This question has been asked countless times. I went with Boutique. Did an ok job, but pay more if you want white white.

Get your dentist to make bleaching trays and provide you with bleaching gels and do it yourself at home following instructions provided. Any bleaching done in the surgery dental chair will add massively to the expense.
You can do it at home in one hour sessions or overnight wear. If you do it at home you have control over how white the end result is. The colour will always fade relapse slightly after the last session. If you manage not to use all the gel provided, you can top up every 6mo/yr.
If you run out of gel, just buy a top up pack. I bought 2 tubes yesterday for £30. Each tube will do top and bottom twice, so £7.50 per session which is inexpensive. Look after the bleaching trays and they can last years. Mine are over 10yr old now and still function well.

I too have considered this. Only some slight whitening as Hollywood teeth do indeed look ridiculous.

Has anyone had issues with teeth sensitivity after using any of the main techniques? That’s the thing that puts me off (don’t currently have any sensitivity and would like to keep it that way)

Have you had your teeth cleaned recently? I would do that first of all. Mine always look way better once all the staining and hardened plaque is removed.

I had the Boutique thingy a few years back

It worked out - people noticed the improvement.

Annual scale and polish makes a difference.

And I've used the strips you can buy online. They too have an effect.

Of the various approaches, I would say the Boutique was most worthwhile.

I'd start with charcoal toothpaste (as mentioned above) and Crest whitening strips for a month and see how you feel.

Old fashioned but Eucryl toothpowder is excellent for removing stains. Its so cheap too

Another cheap option - Oral B Luxe range (3D White is the one I use) Generally a fiver. The only toothpaste that has made an appreciable difference to my teeth in years. Saw it recommended about 18 months ago and have used it since and noticed a massive increase in general tooth health and colour.

Some Oral B toothpastes are on special in Morrison's. I picked up a 3D white clinical for £8, which is normally £16!

Seems to have made a slight difference to mine after a couple of uses. I drink a lot of coffee so that's what's making them yellow.
