Hi all has anyone had Adductor Tendonopothy ,further along the road from Tendonitis ?
If so can I ask how painful was it, I paid for an ultrasound to find out if it showed my groin problem and this showed up.I cannot believe Adductor Tendonopothy can cause you to be in constant pain and really ruining quality of life ,sitting and driving is a nightmare and getting 2 hrs a sleep as the pain wakes you,but hope it is as im running out of ideas.
Thanks

Not had that one specifically but had tendonapathy of achilles and hamstring.

Good news is that tendonopathies are treatable, the worst mistake people make is resting them. You can't rest a tendon to make it better (often makes it even worse), so you should get some exercises involving eccentric strengthening under tension which the tendon will react to. It's a slow process, but should be fine- just make sure you find someone with experience in treating tendon injuries.
