Deodorant

I've used Nivea Cool Kick for years apart from a brief flirtation with Bull Dog, but now I find both of them, although effective, give me sore patches under my arms.

Has anyone got any suggestions for an effective deodorant that works, doesn't smell sickly and won't cause soreness?
Price is not really a problem, availability is.

I had a major flare up of armpit soreness recently, decided to try salt of the earth deodorant spray, you can get it from Amazon

It’s a weak smell so I just use it for the pits and use a normal spray on the chest etc

Armpits are like new again :-)

I've been using Right Guard for years with no soreness and it does the job.

I use Right Guard or Sure depending on what's easier to grab before I run out. Both fine.

No alcohol, that’s important.

Been using this one for a while.... It works well and is not too sickly strong smelling plus doesn't leave white marks

Last two I've been using are Pit Rock and Terre d'Hermès and no issues with either.

Uses it a couple of times a week. After years of struggling with sweat patches when wearing scrubs etc., she now barely sweats at all.

Mitchum roll on for me, used to be able to use spray on but they changed the ingredients and then it used to burn like mad.

Deodorant. No anti-persporant for me.

Years ago, my armpits reacted suddenly to the spray deodorant I was using for years. Drove me mad, I couldn't stop the itching.
After investigation and trial & error, I found out it was the alcohol in certain formulations, and one of them was called alcohol denat.

I stopped using any sprays or roll-ons with this additive and it cleared up.
Thing is, I now use Nivea Cool Kick (and the other one they do) and it's fine. Maybe try to eliminate through trial & error what your issue is.

Same here. I can throw Chanel Pour Monsieur and Scence Fresh Cedar into the mix then. Both as a deodorant stick. My partner wears Neal's Yard Peppermint & Lime in a roll on deodorant which I also use regularly. The Scence and Neal's Yard are particularly skin friendly for irritable skin.

I've used "Wild" for a few years now. They've got specific ones for sensitive skin too. I used to use Nivia a lot too, but it started giving me rash / blotches. Switched to "Wild" and been fine ever since. Don't even have to use their sensitive stuff. They're based around sustainability too, so you buy the applicator cover then just buy refills, so environmentally sound too.

Apologies for repeating myself (I think), but for me what worked on well trimmed pits are occasional applications of Driclor (follow instructions) followed by daily use of a crystal Pitrok.

Try deodorant block from LUSH. I've used it for years but it's pricey now.
