Anyone else when they are feeling ill get really irritated by things that you would normally have no issue with?

Ended up having a row with the missus over how many sausages I wanted for dinner ffs ! Ha

I'm a nightmare best of times but today I felt like crap coughing up god knows what so slept as much as possible and just stayed out of the way.

Not worth interacting with people when I'm "unwell"

Anyone else wondering how many sausages the OP was offered by his wife, how many he wanted and how many he ended up having?

Can't have been that ill if his appetite was so rife for sausages he had n argument over it.

Could well have been chipolata style sausages in which case I'd want 5+ for satiation, otherwise bog standard bangers, anything less than 2 and I'd be kicking off as well.

I’ve been coughing for a month , not moody , just tired , no real appetite, and to be honest mrs has been a star , looking after me , she even said here you are , have my hot water bottle tonight.( how the hell do people sleep with those things ) .
Hope you get better op , constant coughing does wear you down eventually .

Yes I’m quite active normally so turn into even more of a miserable sod than normal if I’m ill, tired and not able to do much.

Maybe the issue was the wife not receiving any sausage?
