Best cure for verruca removal
Discussion
I've got a couple of stubborn verruca's on my foot which are stopping me doing as much sport as I would like/
Anyone found a great solution? I've seen lots of adverts for natural oils which get rave reviews but real world experience is always better if anyone has a pearl of wisdom
Thanks

A tiny piece of duct tape covered with micropore worked for me, where no chemicals did. It took a while though.
This. My mum was a chiropodist, so used to slice the swines out, but what she always recommended to people too scared of that was duct/tank/elephant tape. I did it myself and it works.Keep it soaked in apple cider vinegar using a small cotton swab and tape. Any similar strength acid will probably work, but the internet loves the magical properties of ACV.
It works very quickly if you keep it wet the whole time for a few days. The first 1 or 2 days won’t seem like anything’s happening, but day 3 or 4 it will swell up and become a bit painful. Just when you’re getting sick of the pain on day 4 or 5 ish, it will suddenly stop hurting as the nerves are dead. After that it can be fairly easily removed, leaving a crater behind. I’ve found at this stage it’s pretty important to go back to keeping it soaked in ACV for at least a few more days to stop any virus traces from forming a new wart.
I’ve used this method maybe 10 times since teenage, 40 now, never failed!

I had two on the ball of my right foot for over 10 years, and tried all of the suggestions above, and others. I got used to putting up with them and good at managing the hard skin with a scalpel, but the root cause remained, until… last year I heard about 'Swift Treatment'
I was sceptical but thought I’d try it - and incredibly both verrucas were gone 8 weeks later after just two treatments (c.£60-70 per treatment as I recall). Treatment was quite painful but totally worth it after suffering for >10 years!

I had a monster veruca that hung around for years, eventually reaching the point that I could literally feel it going all the way through my foot to the bone! Tried bazooka and some other treatment and neither did anything. Having read somewhere that you needed to basically "aggravate" the veruca to get your body to react and get rid of it, this is what I did:
- soaked my foot in the bath and used a pumice stone thing to scrape off any dead skin
- dried my foot then used a needle to jab the veruca repeatedly
- poured some vinegar into a bowl and soaked the veruca for about 10mins
Did this 2 or 3 times a week for a couple of weeks and it was gone. Be aware different vinegars have different acidity levels, higher is better!

I'm hoping things have moved on from then and was really looking for a cream recommendation if there is one
I had them frozen out as a kid, bloody painful to get the big onesA quick look on the NHS website suggests that its still an option "freezing the verruca using liquid nitrogen (cryotherapy)"
But creams, plasters and sprays from pharmacies is probably you first choice

My Mum made me wee in a bowl and I had to soak my foot for 15 minutes everyday.
It was gone in a week.
Ever since I have peed in the shower and then puddled for a few seconds before turning on the shower.
I've not had a verruca or athletes foot since.
If you look at a lot of antifungal and verruca creams, the chief ingredient is urea.
