Gastroenteritis

Lucky me I seem to have somehow caught gastroenteritis-
Literally knocked me off my feet, started feeling ill on Thursday evening, woke up 1am Friday shivering so much I couldn’t even hold a glass of water, thought it was a touch of heat stroke, then it properly kicked in Friday evening, I’ve never had the sts so bad!!

Saturday had a fever of 41,managed to get it down ,
Sunday more of the same, the sts got worse, stated to pass a lot of blood, went to A&E, took bloods and sent me home, said just keep rehydrated (yeah right!) literally cannot eat anything, I’ve tried the odd piece of toast etc but it’s like eating concrete!
Still stting really bad, soon as I take and liquid it’s out again ten mins later
Have a follow up appointment at hospital tomorrow so hopefully they can give me something
Never in my life have I been this ill-lost nearly a stone now,I’m in fking bits
Only positive is I’ve not had much vomiting
I would not wish this on anyone!!

Sounds like food poisoning to me, although Im not an expert

Did you hand over any 'samples' to the hospital?
