Using Colgate toothpaste has recently started to make my mouth burn along with sores. I think it s the switch to stannuous fluoride in the ingredients. Anyone else experience the same?

More likely to be the sodium lauryl sulfate causing the burning, used in most toothpastes but you can buy SLS-free toothpaste,
get a tube of that and I predict your problem will be solved immediately.

Been there done that. wink

You know, having had a closer look at ingredients I think it may be the SLS. Tried a Sensodyne paste which also was uncomfortable and its got SLS in it. Will try to seek out an SLS free variant.

Have they just started putting the SLS into Colgate? Or increased the concentration?
Otherwise that doesn’t make sense.

One of the sensodyne products causes terrible sloughing in my mouth, horrible stuff, whereas their protect and repair causes no issues, never checked the ingredients tbh
