Arnica or witch hazel for bruising.

I've got some post-op bruising on my leg and little Furbo from an inguinal hernia op. Would arnica, witch hazel or something else be the best solution?

TIA for any advice.

I think Witch Hazel is generally regarded as an astringent.

My gut reaction would be Arnica for healing.
