Not yet but it’s only a matter of time - loads of coughing and people snotting all over the place at work.

Yes I've had it for the last week or so. Gone deaf, so can't hear myself coughing up the green stuff. Just about getting over it, so can't wait for the glorious 'pop'

I had what would match the symptoms of the latest Covid variant over the weekend, runny nose, dog-tired and achey, I ed all weekend watching TV (how do people do that?)
I was better by Monday though, so no need to hoard toilet rolls or walk around the supermarket in one direction.......

Did you lose your sense of taste? Or is that not thing anymore?

I think I'm going to pull through but it was a close one...

Gah

Sore throat last night, weird temperature, and feeling lousy now. Could just be a cold! I don’t get ill that often so not sure.

For the past few days I have had a croaky voice, sore throat, sneezing, slight runny nose and generally feel a bit rubbish with brain fog.

Just did a search on the latest Covid variant and discovered it is called Stratus and has one symptom that is easily overlooked. You guessed it, a croaky voice.....

Brilliant.

Sounds very similar, my throat was exceptionally sore but no white spots which is unusual for me. Two days of antibiotics left, throat pain gone but now a cough with lots of phlegm.

My Dr didn’t mention Covid though.

The new variant, XFG, (nicknamed 'Frankenstein') has been active since June/July but is now spreading more rapidly thanks to school kids sharing it. A very sore throat (a.k.a. razor-blade throat) is a tell-tale sign.

Virtually certain this is what I have. Unfortunately I had to go into London yesterday to visit a client and the train was absolutely rammed. I suspect I am a super spreader now.

On the plus side I feel a lot better today, although annoying I still have this stupid horse voice.

I don't test but I suspect I have had Covid four times now, I seem to get every bloody new strain that is out there.

I was exhausted yesterday evening. Went to bed at 9pm. My watch tells me I had 9 hours and 34 minutes of sleep, with plenty of REM. Still feel lousy, tho. curse
