Beards (products/taming)

Any recommendations on products to tame beards ? Mine appears to be growing into a wirey mess, I’d like a product to try and make it smooth, soft and manageable

Conditioner is more important than shampoo for beards, a decent beard oil can really help too.

Makes my beard nice and soft!

I have some oils/balms but rarely use them. When I do, Blind Barber have a decent balm (Superdrug) which works well for me.

I use Palmers Coco butter rubbed in.

I might try hair conditioner though.

To make it 'smooth' - do you mean straighter? If so you might need a beard straightener: https://www.bestproductsreviews.co.uk/beard-straig...

They do work, especially for longer beards.

To keep it soft and manageable go for products from Mariner Jack: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&a...

or similar, I find beard oil works better than butter or balm.

I have had a beard now for almost ten years and my go to products are Murdock. Murdock beard shampoo and moisturiser I use regularly. Also you cannot beat a decent beard trim a barber who knows beards

I've used www.thebrightonbeardcompany.co.uk for years. I did like Beard Brand when they were available in the UK.

I'd second the comment about a good barber if you're going full on hipster beard. Your typical Turkish barber just doesn't cut it.

Best product I've found for mine is Moroccan Oil. Can be a bit pricey but sorts it out every time.

I was wandering round Asda a couple of days ago and spotted it: £6.30 Waitrose v £3.07 Asda so I bought some. My beard's a bit softer but it does smell very... er.. feminine; only to be expected I s'pose.

Ha I dont shop at Waiteose, it was the first link when I used Google!

Yeah it does smell a.bit girly! But its the best ive found for my beard.
