Knee pain question
Discussion
Last week i fell into the canal at 530 in the morning, after dragging my slighty damp self out i realised i'd banged my knee or twisted it going in as it was sore.
Half hour later -
Cant put much weight on it, until ive hobbled around a bit then it improves a lot, just loosening up i guess
Transition from sitting to standing or vice versa in painful but ok when done
Any sideways movement is painful
All that is normal i would say.
But what i dont understand is this
Theres limited movement before it hurts so putting shoes on for instance is very hard, but if i grab my trousers and hoik my leg up and around it doesnt hurt.
Theres no bruising, theres swelling on the inside of the knee.
I'm just puzzled as to why i can manually throw my leg around by hand with no issues but can barely move it on its own.
ive had this injury in the past and it will take a few months to fully heal.
