First visit to this forum.
72, I've been a runner and a cyclist for years although cycling stopped a few years ago.
I get out for a run (slow shuffle) when I can. After a winter lay off I'm building up distance slowly currently at 6 mile.
When I get home my face/head is often very red, not quite beetroot but you get my drift.
Sign of something or just normal?

Checked your blood pressure lately?

Can also be a side effect of blood pressure medications.

Last checked some months ago and generally fine. Very slightly high.
No meds.

Pretty fit, 41. Have been very fit in the past. I’m bright red for hours after a run. Never worried me, just not the best look.
