Daily Multifocal Contact Lenses for Astigmatism, anyone use?

Brief'ish background... Nearly 50 y/o, worn contacts extensively in the past, but hardly wear them anymore, mainly glasses these days. Reason being, eyesight is better close up with no correction on, as in up to probably a metre away, so using PC, tying fishing hooks on, reading menus etc etc, distance I definitely need correction.
Current lenses are Acuvue Oasys 1 Day for Astigmatism which are comfortable to wear, but knacker my close up vision. With glasses I can just pop them off. But I like lenses for rainy days when outside, sports/active stuff, motorcycling/hooning in the car, basically there's times I just like to pop lenses in and be able to see what I'm doing without having to push glasses up my nose all day. Have trialled mono vision lenses in the past and that didn't work out for me unfortunately.
So I have just come across these new lenses from Acuvue, daily multifocal for Astigmatism ones, was in at Boots yesterday for eye test and asked about them and told they are very new to the market, and they've ordered me a trial in. I'm quite excited about them and really hoping they could be the answer to me being able to wear contact lenses regularly again.
Has anyone else used these multifocal type lenses and can comment if they are as good as they sound?!

I’ve been using these for the past 3 months after monovision for maybe the last 10+ years. They are possibly the most expensive daily disposable lenses currently on the market…..however IMO they are well worth the cost, comfort, wearing time and visual clarity being excellent. Much better than monovision.
As with all torics it may take a couple of trials to get the prescription right, and will somewhat rely on how experienced your Optometrist is.
My astigmatism axis is not far off the horizontal, and is the majority of my prescription, so even without lenses my vision isn’t that bad, not quite up to driving standard though. My tolerance with lenses has always been as long as it’s better with lenses than without I’m winning, and quite accepting that it won’t be as good as with specs. These do get pretty damn close though.
