Anyone's family, Mrs etc experienced this?..

My wife has been diagnosed with a cyst on both ovaries, one side being quite large. They plan to operate and given that she's only 30 years old want to preserve as much ovarian tissue as possible, but with the cyst being so large on one side she could lose most of the ovary..

Anyone else had this? How did it go, post op etc...

A lady who I was involved with many years ago had the same and had to have one ovary removed completely as a result, she was early 20s at the time and was told her chances of having children were significantly reduced, she went on to have twins a few years later without any sort of medical assistance (IVF etc).
Haven’t seen for since about 2020 when we bumped into each other but at that time her kids were doing very well and just starting high school.

I wish you and your partner all the best whatever happens

Try not to overthink it just yet, health is everything, get it sorted and get her well then see where you are.

They do give you worst case scenarios more often than not these days , to avoid legal action.

Hope it goes better than you are thinking right now.

Wife had PCOS most of her life, several ops, managed 3 kids and early hysterectomy as complex lady parts etc

Don't worry just listen to docs etc
