Recommend me a Soy Protein
Discussion
Whey protein messes my guts up. So I’ve tried soy protein from Bulk and Protein works.
Both have been fine on my guts but taste absolutely awful. To the point I’m struggling to get them down now.
So, can anyone recommend a decent soy protein that tastes even remotely half decent when made with water.

Mix pea or soya protein into beans, soup, scrambled eggs, pancake the list goes on
I used to find stirring 20g into a cup of fresh tap water and necking it was the best way to consume it.
I’ve been necking it. Which is becoming a struggle. I might try unflavoured and see if that’s any better.

I quite like hemp protein powder. Slightly nutty taste and makes everything green but prefer the taste to whey based protein (whey isolate is ok but more expensive).
Hemp has less protein per gram and more fiber. I mix a couple of spoonfuls in with my granola or overnight oats/porridge in the morning.

Do you have a dairy intolerance? I found out I did after having bad stomachs with whey protein.
I switch between these two plant protein powders. Fine with water but I add them as part of my overnight oats breakfast everyday. Lactose free milk, oats, the powder, honey, banana, peanut butter. Great breakfast to start the day off.

Currently on the strawberry one for the last 3-4 months and prefer it. With the Optimum one I had the Vanilla Creme rather than the chocolate one in the link.

For my money, I'd avoid Soy, but that's just my preference for reasons of both gastro-intestinal upset and Phytoestrogens. Both have been fine on my guts but taste absolutely awful. To the point I m struggling to get them down now.

But for plant based protein, try Form Nutrition. https://formnutrition.com/plant-based-nutrition/fo...
Nicest protein powder I've ever used in 40years of using them. I drink it for pleasure.
