Over the last few months Mrs Countdown has been having pains in her right knee to the point where standing up, or going upstairs, causes her issues. She does a lot of running and my guess is that's what has exacerbated it. Anyway, to cut a long story short, she's currently receiving physio treatment.

One of the things the Physio uses is some kind of heated wheat bag compress on her knee. I've had a google and there are various things on the internet that look similar. I was just wondering if anybody had any personal recommendations. It does need to be heated but it doesn't need to be wheaty.

Thank in advance

You can get them filled with cherry stones - a by product of the Kirsch industry. Mrs Loto used to use one for her back.

You just stick them in the micro for a minute or so and they impart and lovely, 'moist', warmth. Not sure where we got it from but I'm sure a quick Google would throw up a few sources.
