Bad Neck & Pins & Needles In Right Arm

Over the course of this morning I have developed a REALLY painfull neck, it's the the right side at the back, as it's got worse I have pins & needles in my right arm/hand.

What's it likely to be?

Something's irritating a nerve. There's no way to work out what (could be disc (rare in the neck), joint or most likely muscle spasm) online. Take some paracetomol and ibuprofen if you can, get a heat pack on it and try to keep it moving. Then go and see a physio.

Have you been SCUBA diving at all? hopefully you havn't, but in the unlikely event you have been recently, see your doctor ASAP and tell him about it.

OK, went for 20lengths in the pool tonight, followed by jacuzzing & steam room, it's help quite a bit, still hurts but no where near as much.

sounds like a good excuse to spend more time in the jacuzzi

Definately sounds like nerve route irritation! If it persists and keeps bothering you get down the osteopaths chiropracter etc.. doesnt matter who as long as they are good.

I know of a good osteo in bristol if you want one!
