I train at the gym twice a week, Monday and Friday..
I'm doing a mix of things, not too heavy, on an informal rotation -
Chest and arms
Legs
Shoulders and back

I also run once a week.

The problem is that whenever i train my back, I get blinding headaches the next day. I dont train heavily- lower weights, 3 sets of 15 reps.
I stretch for ten minutes aftrewards, and never feel like I've overtrained weight wise.

Next day, i wake with a pain up one side of my back, into my neck, and a headache. Every time.

If i then stretch my back and neck, it hurts like hell at the time, then i feel the headache ease instantly.

Other than more stretching, anyone got any ideas? someone at the gym suggested a supplement that was shown to help 'exertion headaches'....

When I've had them, I've just not trained for a week or two and they usually go away I just do cardio/abs during that period.

Don't know if the above is the same for everyone.....

I had this for ages and my job didn't help at all.

I started doing 3x shrugs (maxing out at 20 reps). No trouble since.
