Solar plexus

I know it isn't the corect anatomical name and that the real thing is on fact located deep within the body, but yesterday I managed to stick a metal (thankfully blunt) splike into the area just below the sternum. It hurt at the time and today if I lean forward or poke it it hurts ( so I am not leaning forward or poking it).

What have I bruised/busted?

Could have bruised your stomach, I guess. Hint: if you are to do Shaolin monk-style body conditioning, get a suitable instructor.
