Suicide with jelly fish for organ donation

I watched seven pounds the other night and it's got me thinking.
If you wanted to top yourself with the intention of leaving as many organs as possible to others would a jelly fish really be the best soloution?
Surely the poison works on your organs and would be in your bloodstream rendering most of you useless?

Is there a better way of making sure harvesting is done (other than going on holiday in some South American countries)?

Pretty sure it was a classic Corvette. And it was a box jelly fish, I did think the film was partially duff but liked the way it all tied in at the end.
