Wifey just ate a chunk of Brie, said shortly after - less than 5 mins that it didn't taste right ( Well within date etc ) Within a minute or so it all came back. Seemed very quick for a reaction, is that even possible?

Of course it is. If I drink a Tequila my body rejects it immediately!

Definately, I once ate a bad mussel. Pretty much came up immediately. Glad it did< I felt really ill for two days. God knows what would have happened if i had digested some of it.
The human body is rather good at looking after iteself sometimes.

She feels fine now and has eaten some toast. Upset that she missed out on Steak and Chips, even though she felt like eating it, it seemed wrong to try. Normally loves Brie - will be off the menu for a while now I suspect!

I have what is seemingly an allergy to some fruits. I ate a single cherry about a month ago and immediately felt my mouth tingling, and it felt like I had bits stuck in my throat. 15 seconds later I projectile vomited, so yes, it can happen.

And don't forget some people have a rather adverse reaction to Quorn, which is basically a mould.

It's essentially the same culture that causes Athlete's foot. How I love telling vegetarians that one...
