Cant say I have noticed that ill effect - ive always been irritable, but at least i'm less likely to suffer the ill effects of hypertension, as its now perfectly controlled

Ankle/leg swelling is the most commonly reported side-effect.

Otherwise, it's quite a well tolerated medication and a good anti-hypertensive.

if you use the same machine each time, you will reduce error. Also do 3 measurements at a time and average them out - some machines will do this automatically.

most of the omron machines seem reliable

dont get too hung up on measuring your blood pressure, it can cause you stress!

The best and most reliable one is Omron M10-IT, used by professionals. Needs to calibrated once a year to keep the accuracy.
