Anyone ever get hallucinations from zopiclone?

Just had my second experience ever of seeing things in room after taking zopiclone.
It's all quite fun and certainly not a buzz. Anyone else noticed this?

what did you see? I have some zoplicone but have never used them!

It sounds a bit odd, but loads of long jungly type plants with tentacles going over the bed mainly. Then some people kind of just hanging around briefly. Right I'm off for some kip. Night all.

I've used zolpidem which is similar and had horrible hallucinations from it. There were little people in my room coming to kill me, certainly not fun!

I've taken the stuff - no issues. Apart from this one time when I tried to stay awake after taking it So much fun!

Accidentlly took one once instead of an antihistermine. Countering that all day was fun. Totally ruined my sleeping pattern for the whole week!

Dose clearly wasn't high enough then. When I tried to "counter" I just spend 10 minutes falling over like I'd drunk 15 pints then gave up :P

I’ve been on Zorclone Irish version of the stuff for a few years, never had any problems other than "the falling over like I’d drunk 15 pints" if I didn’t go straight to bed. However my Doc’s have prescribed miraxapin and amitriptyline in addition and over the last few months I’ve been getting some really vivid hallucinations. Waking up in the middle of the night with panic attacks looking for people in my house that aren’t there. Not a great feeling at all!

Nah, not really. Just knock you to sleep for a little bit and wake up feeling great. Also do wonders on long distance flights.

think of industrial strength nytol as the people that take zopiclone myself included can munch on all nytol all night long and not feel any single affect off it.

I just dont know how to sleep... I can never clear my mind and Im constantly thinking so I never relax properly.. I dont take it now but used to but sometimes I dont actually sleep at night

I used to be the same. Sleepless nights, head working overtime, 2 bottles of red to get a good nights sleep or Nytol if I didn`t have a drink.

Found this app on iphone called relax. It`s a scottish guy talking softly telling you to unwind. He really takes your mind off work and lets you shut off allowing you to fall asleep unaided.

Works for me and I`ve not had a drink for 4 weeks either! result!

I have taken one with alcohol on a plane and woke up in my bed at home the next day with no recollection of getting off the plane, driving home (really not good) or saying 'hello' to my family upon arrival.

Very very scary.

No hallucinations though.

Isn't Zopiclone meant to be addictive ?

ISTR it's meant for short tern use only.
