How do. Can any of you clever people advise me on the least chubbifying way of consuming booze for pleasure? I'm fond of a drink or two of an evening (not every evening, but some), but am aware that my preferred choices of beer and Vodka Red Bulls are piling on calories that I otherwise work hard to get ride of.
I can't stand the taste of diet pops, so those are out. I was thinking perhaps vodka and orange juice?
I'm fully aware that the easy way to get rid of the chub would be not drink at all but, well, that wouldn't be much fun.

Cheers!

Have you thought about swapping alcohol for a calorie free 'legal high'?

Pretty sure getting smacked off your face on Ivory-Meow-SD or whateverthefkitscalled would be a 'thinner' alternative?

Failing that, spirits. IIRC a measure of the average spirit is 5 or 6 times lower in calories than a jug of ale would be.You'd only even things out (calorie-wise) if you started using mixers, like Coke.

Open bottle of vodka, swig about 10 measures worth, close bottle and replace in cupboard. Fill glass of water and drink that in front of the TV. Adjust amount of vodka consumed according to whether you want all out smashedness or just that 'relaxed' feelings. Jobs a good'un.

Spirits are great up until you hit the wall but dont notice and then head butt the fker, as you dont realise how drunk you are.

Or they have that misterious habit of one or two turn into 3-4 and then suddenly you are waking up in a strange place thinking how the fk did I get there and I hope I didnt text anyone.

This is easy. For guilt free boozing, just add house music and dancing. You get the fuzzy feeling, but you also get an extended aerobic workout and if you time your last drinks right your also sobering right up as the lights come on and then you can walk home without falling down a drain.

I have a couple of large vodkas with diet pepsi most nights and it hasn't affected my recent weight loss.

Clear spirts are the best, I believe!

Cheers all. Guess I'll stick to vodka rather than beer and experiment with alternative mixers. Will try a gin and slim and see if I like it...

Long vodka is your friend - vodka, agnosturas bitters (sp), bit of lime and topped up with soda. It's supposed to be lemonade, but soda is arguably nicer. About 50 cals per glass vs 200 for beer and 300 for strong lager.

As above I've read that the clearer the spirit the lower the calories, although I've also read that whisky gets it's colour from the wood in the barrel so that "fact" could be wrong.

If you don't like slimline then I would suggest lime\lemon juice (fresh) with gin, my preference is the juice from 1 lime with each double, tastes divine IMO.
