Anyone else here get it? After taking some prescribed medication, which does note a side effect of Restless Leg, it has aggravated an already present Restless Leg Syndrome I get.

It's now like mental torture, and a suggestion to take the pills earlier (as they're sedatives) has left me looking like I have Parkinsons and falling asleep midway through Eastenders.

Has anyone had any successful treatment or suggestions to help alleviate this?

Try

- Banana every day
- Drink more water than you do already
- Magnesium supplements (200mg 3 times per day)
- Brisk walk in the evening (easier said than done when it's -3)
- Glass of tonic water before bed
- Crack one off

That might help.

Cut out on coffee and tea also I have found taking sleeping tablets can bring it on as well.

I used to get this really bad. However I gave up all caffeine (including chocolate) and take magnesium supplement (for a different health reason). Anyhow the upshot is now I don't get it anymore.

i have it every night its hell. only thing ive ever found that has worked is diazepam sleeping tablets but they wont give you those for long. if you find a remedy tell me!

recently ive found myself waking up half way down the bed - seems to help having the bottom half of my legs hanging off the bed.
