Hi, looking for some help in finding a new gym.

I live in East leeds, and work in Ossett, near Wakefield. Ideally I want somewhere I can visit between work and home without going too far out of my way. Even more ideal is a chain which has a branch in both locations (fitness first does, but more on that later!)

What I want is somewhere with good quality, well kept equipment, a good range of free weights and a sauna/steam room. A pool would be a bonus, but not essential.

As I’m going to be stopping off on my commute I also need parking, and I want somewhere which is not too packed and has a friendly atmosphere.

I’ve been training at home the last few years, but really fancy joining a decent gym again. I have previously tried my local council gym, which is a very good facility but tends to be overly packed week day evenings and has a very cold atmosphere.
Now, back to fitness first; that would seem the ideal solution, especially with membership at £23.95 as quoted on their website, however I have heard elsewhere that they are having a 30% price hike in January.
Cost wise, I would like it to be sub £30/month.
Big ask and a lot of criteria I know, but any suggestions gladly received.
Thanks.

Leeds Card and use of the leisure centre in Morley, Rothwell etc?

Village Hotel?

Bannatyne's on the A650 near Burger King?

Thanks for the reply, had a Leeds card and used to use John Smeaton centre, but didn't really like it.

Not looked at village, will check that.

Bannatyne's looks fantastic, but pricey I'd expect? (no prices on their website).
