Anyone else suffer from this? What medication do you take. I was diagnosed with this a little while a go and was prescribed Nasonex. This was more or less useless so I didnt get any more.

I have been using an over the counter nose spray from Sudafed which is great. Long term though its not the answer. I know I need to go back to my docs but just wondered what people used that worked.

use this to soothe the nasal passages - it's a bit like drowning but really helps the meds to work: linky

Also Avamys works for me(on prescription)

I get this now and then.Went to see a doc and got prescribed a nasal steroid spray which worked quite well.

Next time it returned I found a cheaper variety of steroid spray (beconase) at the local chemist and bypassed the whole doctor/appointment/

prescription/trip into town bullst. It seems to do the job quite well in about 5 days.

When you say "diagnosed" - what type? i suffered from sneezing/running nose for 7+ years. Some days fine, others i was literally flat out from streaming nose/eyes, sneezing every 10 seconds. Anti histamines only took the edge off it

Eventually nailed it to my diet. Got so bad that all i ate for 2 weeks was salad and tuna! End result is i limit the amount of bread/yeast i eat. Used to love my 2 slices of toast with marmite for breakfast. Then a sandwich for lunch. And a bready snack before dinner! Now i stick to cereal, then salad bar for lunch. Bit of bread at weekend and it rarely flares up
