I have a condition known as "Watery Eyes"
ie my tear ducts don't work. No s

Most people are treated for this with a couple of operations before the age of 3. Coming from windy Glasgow I've always just put up with it and wiped the tears away. Recently though things have got worse so went to see a specialist.
5 needles & 1 syrigine later (too both feckin eyes) I now have to have a tearduct by pass! LOL
Has anyone had any experience of this or had the operation? Me & hospitals are not exactly best of friends. I know the NHS is great and all that but going under and let someone feck about with my eyes causes me concern!
Any info would be great!

)Well I had my first op last Tuesday!
They did the right eye first.
Knocked me out cold cut about a 1" incision in the corner of my eye, ground out a small channel in my nasal bone, then drilled though!!!!
I now have a tiny plastic pipe in the corner of my eye and it seems to be working fine.
Had the stitches removed this morning which was painless!!!!!
Just have to wait another 5 weeks to let the scar tissue form around the tubes creating my own tear ducts!
Worst part of the whole Op??????
The sore throat from the tube they put down your throat while you are under!!!!
