All the cakes and chocolate and crisps are just there all the time!! everywhere!

So im asking the PH massive how they keep the cravings for sweet stuff at bay?? I can eat all the bananas and apples and protein bars you want but i always crave the proper stuff. Also on another point, how bad is redbull?

Cold turkey only seems to work for me frown I have a proper chocolate tooth, its either all or nothing.

Seems to go away after a few days, lots of water.

As above....cold turkey. I find that after a couple of weeks I have no interest in sweet stuff...yet when I am in fat mode I could do 3/4 packs of crisp and the same in chocky bars a day with ease.

Only annoying thing is I have a house of kids and it's a pain watching my 7 year old chomp his way through a kitkat while showing me his 6 pack and laughing (scum)

I have to not have it in the house. Chocolate is a massive weakness of mine.

Same with cheese.

If I get a bad sugar craving I have a cup of tea with sugar in it. 50cals sure, but at least it prevents me from getting a whole bar of chocolate and doing a major amount of calories!

I used to be a chocolate addict as well. What worked for me was buying some high cocoa mass chocolate - 85% odd. I physically cannot eat more than a small piece of it before saying enough. Same with crisps. Sometimes what's worse is wanting them and not having them - leave some in the house - but the flavour you don't particularly enjoy.

Crisps are my main weakness, would take a packet of S+V over a dairy milk any day. So any flavour in my house would be snaffled! even bbq!yuck

Its probably not that healthy but if I get a craving for something sweet after dinner or whenever I have a mint imperial.

They take so long to eat that I feel like I've had enough.

sometimes I have two but its alot better than having 2 biscuits or a chocolate bar haha

... I had the same for many years - I found the answer was those sugar free jelly type sweets - a bit like wine gums but much smaller. They used to do the trick quite nicely.
