Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone suffers from the above? Without going to much into it (
) I have been going to the toliet alot more. So went to the Doc's and turns out I may have the above. I've got to go back (again) for more blood test's then refered to the Hospital.
It's not the best having to go to the toilet alot, especially when you feel like your stomach is about to leave your exit...

When they say "Bowel Disease" I presume there's more than one option and they are looking in to it...boom boom
Presumably by "disease" they mean it could be IBS, cancer, Crohn's, colitis etc. Might be worthwhile doing some research so you at least have an idea of possibilities, anyway. Could simply be stress, of course...

May be worth asking the GP seeing as you've got a family history. All they do to screen you for bowel cancer is get you to smear some poo onto a piece of special paper. Nothing nasty.At 23, bowel cancer is unlikely but not impossible...don't worry too much, I'm sure they'll sort you out
Get yourself to the doctors and don't let them buff you off with you're too young to have cancer and rubbish.
I had the same symptoms for nearly a year; three times I went to my GP and was sent home with pills. I asked if it could be cancer and was told no as I'm too young to have bowel cancer (I was 37) the symptoms carried on and i went back and refused to go until further checks were done.
Two weeks later i was referred to the hospital for a Colonoscopy and that's when they found a tumour, unfortunately it was cancer. I had the operation to have it removed a month later. Make sure you're 100% sure that the doctors do all they can to make it certain it isn't cancer and good luck with it all.
