Massive increase in kids on steroids....
Discussion
...has anyone else noticed or spoke to others in your local gym about younger and younger people using steroids?
I have always been aware of people around me using steroids including several personal friends but more and more people seem to be using.
Also i have noticed the users are getting increasingly younger and these people have no real knowledge of what there doing or using.
What annoys me the most is there constant denial and lack of understanding what these products are and damage they can cause. Yes if you want to then go for it but dont just use some because a mate said if you do you will get massive

I had suspicisons that my youngest nephew was 'on' steroids. I was wondering why he was getting so big all of a sudden. It was like he just suddenly put on mass over night and was lifting weights like he never before. One day I just sat down with him and asked straight out, his reply?
"Baa goo daa ppffffttttt haa daaaa."
The bloody cheek of it! I couldn't get a proper answer from him!
I'll ask him again when he's learned to talk to me in a more sensible manner. IMO he's a typical 6 month old thug destined for a life in gaol.
Sorry, OP.

I have been training for 10 years at our local gym. In the early days there was the odd guy on steroids but now i feel there has been a huge increase.
I see young guys coming to the gym, new faces, more skinny than the missus and within 6 months they are blown up, spotty with attitude and have no idea what damage they are doing.....very sad indeed. 6 months further down the line, they are back to square one with stretch marks beacuse they aint got a freaking clue.
Im quite looking forward to see what will happen in the next 10 years to the guys that are abusing now.

Personally I blame the industry. Cynical b
ds!This is just about to hit a gym near you: [url]http://www.primordialperformance.com/store/andromass.html[/url
It's not even out yet, but thanks to the hype its already out of stock! (oh, and of course, it's perfectly legal!)
Of course, most teenagers need to be on juice as they're not producing much testosterone in their late teens.

...a whole new generation of moobs/lumpy nips/hypertension & shot livers. Still, the NHS pays right?

Yikes thats is SD or Superdrol yet it is suggesting it isn't liver toxic. For the uninitiated SD is extremely toxic and it's stacked with Holodrol.

Terrible stuff and highly dangerous too.
As for the claim it is as good as 428mg of test, well test can be run at that level for months and months, try that with that stuff and prepare for ill health! Oh and test isn't going to cause you liver failure!

Absolutely no different to any other drug like alcohol, just some drugs are more socially acceptable.
The potential to 'accidentally' or unwittingly abuse steroids is much higher than alcohol though. It's amazing the number of people that do it though, even people in professions where you'd think they'd know better...

Are steroids that harmful or is it the same hysteria that incorrectly suggested that everyone using Ecstasy would die?
I don't know the answer BTW, I'm asking the question.
Yes they are. They were orignally designed for people with medical conditions which meant they suffered from muscle breakdown or loss, or after an acident where body mass has been torn away for example. People who use them in gyms to get massive take over 100 times the recommended theraputic dose. This is the reason that scientific studies will tell you that steroids don't work; they can't ethically replicate the doses that users take in gyms.I don't know the answer BTW, I'm asking the question.
They damage pretty much every organ in your body. They give you moobs, can shrink your balls to the size of a pea! And for women they have the opposite effect. This can make you permently sterile if abused for long enough.
Other things they do for example is breakdown collagen. This is what your tendons and ligaments are made out of. So, weaker connective tissues and stonger muscles. Not a god mix. but of course, Human Growth hormone will address this issue. But then that comes with a load of problems too!

What are the benefits and problems with human growth hormone?
Benefits: Rebuilds (if damaged through steroid abuse) and strengthen tendons regardless of their previous state i.e. it will make healthy tendons stronger (not neccesarily a good thing though). It also increses muscle mass.Downsides: Increases the size of all your organs. Having a large heart may sound like a good thing, but it is not. This can cause serious problems for all of your organs. It also increases bone size so can cause disfiguring of bones, often evident with oversized foreheads and jaws (think Jaws from James bond, he had a natural health condition that caused too much HGH to be released from his pituitry gland, this will happen to abusers too).
There are other issues i'm sure but I haven't studied it for a while now - these are the mains ones IIRC.
