I'm not fat but I want to lose a stone or so. Just picked up some Nutrition Headquarters tablets to give them a try.

I swim about 3 times a week, play squash once a week and walk a fair bit so I won't purely rely on the tablets. I wondered if anyone had tried them and the pros and cons.

I felt pretty wired after the first one and didn't sleep too well but into day 2 now.

Any experience?

Probably just increases your metabolism much like exercise and caffeine might. I like the way it says "Designed as an easy to use lifestyle plan to help support weight maintenance when combined with appropriate exercise and a low-fat diet."

Using pencils can help support weight maintenance when combined with appropriate exercise and a low-fat diet.

Stroking monitors can help support weight maintenance when combined with appropriate exercise and a low-fat diet.

Wearing trousers can help support weight maintenance when combined with appropriate exercise and a low-fat diet.

Polishing watch crystals can help support weight maintenance when combined with appropriate exercise and a low-fat diet.

The list is endless. biggrin

Its funny you say that because one of the most effective weight loss stacks is ECA and that provides a rush....
We we were younger we never took weight loss tabs before going clubbing.... Oh no Siree Bob hehe

As it goes they are pretty relatively safe.

And if you take one in the morning it will give you massive focus in work, they also provide a really nice happy feeling.

Although I'm not recommending anything, just saying....
Wikipedia talks about trials that proved it work but outside of the "laboratory" conditions, it can lead to heart problems and strokes. I'll stick to coffee (don't need to lose fat, anyway).

The truth is any stimulant can lead to heart problems and strokes.

Did you see the guy not so long ago who had a heart attack and died from taking caffeine? It made the news as he had bought it from Myprotein and died from it.

Sure - I only meant my daily one cup of coffee, not 10 cups of espresso. I want to sleep this week. biggrin

T5s are a pretty potent blend of an ECA stack which I'm dabbling with the idea of to help with the summer cut

One of my mates uses T5's and swears by them. Not sure if i want to risk them though...

These T2, 3, 5's etc not the same idea as EPH?

Similar, saying that so are ECA's, T5's are just a more potent stack! Often available from unscrupulous gym goers however, these might actually give one a real "whizz"

As opposed to T3/T4 which also raise metabolism but ARE dangerous.

If you know what you are doing and understand your body properly taking an ECA stack is not dangerous imo.

Nope, one thing i was considering however. Was running the cycle through my exam period. I've heard mixed reviews as to the effect they have on your concentration?

They improve your concentration massively in my experience and make you super focused as well as giving you tons of energy.

but... same as racing... I'd not do anything I've not extensively tried prior to the event, like a nutrition plan. Nothing worse than feeling anxious and edgy in an important exam to distract your thoughts and send you haywire.

Since I cut caffeine from 4-9 times a day to twice in the am then stop I've noticed huge changes - bad at first in terms of trying to keep focussed but now, 3-4 weeks on, miles better and really good night sleep if no alcohol or caffeine 3h before bed.

Dropping the stimulants has made me *more* focussed - give it a go if you can and get the B12 up in the diet - its underestimated for stressful periods imo

GOOD LUCK!!
