Ross River Virus
Discussion
Was down in Bunbury, WA, 2 weeks ago for a weekend. Now I don't remember getting bitten by a mosquito, or atleast I didn't have any bites come up, but I woke up today with serious joint pains all over my body, a banging headache, eyes that felt like someone had been poking them all night and a generally feeling of being unwell
Now it could just be a bit of a fever but the last thing I need right now is RRV giving me grief for the next few months.
Anyone have any experience of it?

Go easy on him, a few of us on here happen to watch House so are more than capable of providing a diagnosis and cure.
First, we'll need to do a colonoscopy, following this we'll need to test for diverticulosis, gallstones, and a hiatal hernia. During the last process you'll flatline, but we'll bring you back round and test for Ross River Virus (we searched your house and found the canoe in your garage).
The tests will show you have RRV, so we'll start administering medicine for this, but you'll develope strange red contusions as a result and we'll switch you to steroids.
After a few more bundgled diagnosees you'll have been treated for 15 types of diseases you dont have, and we'll realise that actually all you have is the flu.
Take a lemsip and go to bed.
PS: Please dont take any medical advise from me, regardless of my House training I do not yet consider myself a fully qualified doctor.
