Company I work for provides private health care and we have to have a thorough check up every two years, went along for my appointment four weeks ago in full knowledge that I am much fitter and healthier than my previous meeting. During our session we hit the topic of allergies and I offered the fact that I was allergic to both fish and fowl, was asked when was the last time I had been tested, turned out to be 30 years ago. After having chatted he referred me to an allergist, cut a long story short, still allergic to fish (which doesn't bother me one iota) but no longer intolerant chicken, result smile

Rather tentative now in what to cook for my first savouring moment, will have a scroll through the food forum, unless anyone has suggestion for me, please ..... thanks

I would test with a piece of chicken, first. Perhaps as per above or buy some pre-cooked chicken pieces from the cold food section in Tesco. Rather than make a whole roast chicken, for instance. nuts
