Hoffman great service!
Discussion
I've just ordered a 410 from Pat at Hoffman's and I have to say that their service has been fantastic! I had a few unanswered questions, mainly about buying from a manufacturer that I've never had any dealings with and Pat organised a factory tour with Scott and I have to say I blown away. The factory is amazing coupled with Scott's passion and knowledge for the brand makes a great buying experience.
I'm currently running a 911S which is fantastic but I've been looking for a car that was pretty special, different and I can see the 410 delivering just that. With the Porsche GT3 RS and 911R's being completely out of reach I'm sure Lotus will find a market for these cars. Anyhow my point is that if you're thing of a 400 or 410 then speak to Pat at Hoffman's, he's most definitely the best dealer I've dealt with.

Whilst at Hethel we got to see the black 410 test car with black wheels. Looked amazing in the flesh so I've gone for metallic black, black wheels, grey alcantara with yellow stitching. Air con, Rad/Nav/Camera, Sound deadening, cruise. Same spec as most dealers seem to be ordering. Pat has also arranged for the steering wheel to be trimmed fully in alcantara but with a yellow marker on the top of the wheel to replace the standard red. Above and beyond the call of duty!
Have to say it sounds like a great specification. I was advised however when I bought my 400, not to go for a fully alacantra trimmed wheel because it becomes polished where your hands rub and then if you get sweaty palms it can slip easily...apparently this has been discovered on Porsches.

Do you like black
Auto or manual. With the S1 Evora most were manual, but in the 400 it's a far more even split. Personally I went from manual S1 to Auto 400. Do love the auto, but if it were not my daily I'd probably have still gone manual.

That's interesting and probably won't wear as well but it's not my daily drive so I'll see how I get on! Can you guys advise on the best owners club to join?www.thelotusforums.com is probably the most active forum for Evoras in the UK (including the 400 & 410). www.seloc.org is also very busy but is primarily Elise/Exige based.
Another happy Hofmanns customer here, I bought my Evora 400 Hethel Edition through Pat.
He's always open to a chat and was very helpful with my order after there were a few snags during the process.
I'd definitely recommend both him and Hofmanns!
We also did a factory tour with both Scott and Pat. I'm sure if you sliced Scott open, he'd bleed yellow and green!
