Since being totally overshadowed by Lotus's plans for 2013 and beyond there was barely a column inch or photo of the Evora S or paddleshift car (if that's your bag).

After some amount of trawling I managed to find a few decent photos which I've posted for all to see.

One thing that's very interesting to me (and likely to cause a headache for the dealers) is that the Evora S features a number of tasty carbon parts (eg interior and engine cover) and a lovely alcantara/leather interior. If these are available to order I'd be very interested, especially as I'm seriously considering an Evora S. The Evora IPS also seems to be in a rather nice shade of dark metallic green, which is not on the colour chart as per the Lotus website. But it's very nice.

Anyway, here you go.

Thanks for posting those The Pits. Loving the dark metallic green. Sorely tempted by the 'S', especially after seeing a white Evora on the Isle of Wight on Saturday, as almost everyone states, they look so much better in the flesh.

The green is gorgeous. I'm going through a massive green phase at the moment! It's not far off Jaguar's 'botanical green' or the old Lotus Carlton 'imperial green'. Very near black most of the time I imagine but flares green in direct sunlight.

However I do find the new Lotus website frustrating. There's precious little useful information on the options available. For someone with a genuine interest in speccing a new car, it's not doing much to help close the sale.

Hi

The alcantara interior is an option on the website configurator: not sure how much it costs though. In the extras brochure there are a couple of different engine covers: a composite one in black and red (LOTACO5499) and a carbon fibre one (LOTACO5507). It says nothing about carbon interior bits, however I wouldnt be surprised if these were available by now.

Hope this helps: and the green looks great!

that's really helpful, thanks.

we're a bit out of the loop here in Ireland when it comes to Lotus these days.

The green looks the same or very similar to the Celebration Excels Lotus produced in the early 90's - it often looks black, but strong light picks out the green and brings it to life. It's an excellent colour. (guess what car I've got wink )

great photos, I would take either. Damn Lotus and the Evora S, I could live without the standard one but now the S has come along it is a different matter altogether.

Interesting to see the oversize and frankly 'bolt on afterthought' diffuser on the Paris show car. The photos from the launch in Spain last week show a much better integrated affair.

Is the accessory catalogue avaliable on line, (can't find it), or is it a dealer job?
