Don't no if there's already a thread just thought I'd see what people would like their team to do in january.
Transfers in/out. Rumours, loans or just general targets.
I'd like to see sunderland sign a centre forward and a left back.
I would terminate bentdners loan and send a few younger players out to gain experience.
I'd also like to see newcastle sell tiote and ba. hehe

I'd like to see Man Utd send Gibson to Barcelona with them sending Messi and £40m to us.

I like the rumours that we're selling Kuyt to Turkey for 10 million.

I laughed at the rumours that Carroll keeps having a drive back up to Geordie land and that we might be loaning him back there. Has anyone actually looked at the league table and seen how close Newcastle are behind us?

I'm not a Darren Bent fan, I think he will be over-priced but he would score more goals than any other striker we currently have at the club.

Liverpool need imo

- a striker
- a winger
- a defensive midfielder

Any names Raja?

Podolski has been brought up as a strike target but not sure he would come.

A winger would be nice but I don't think we need a DM - i'd rather spend the money on goals.

Dembele does look a very good player and fulham will do well to keep hold of him imo.
I think 10 million for kuyt would be good business for liverpool as he's 31 now and hasn't scored for 5 months or something?
I think hoilett will leave blackburn and pineear sp? Will be leaving spurs.

Wasn't really doing the business for us. It was the same when we bought him. Somewhat barren, but a new club and he gets all excited. We also sold Beckford who in my opinion didn't really get much of a chance.

I hope West Ham sign a striker who can actually score. Heard a rumour we've gone in for Jordan Rhodes and were told to go forth and multiply!

I'd like us (Sunderland) to sign at least one striker and preferably Papiss Demba Cissé.

I honestly cant see your concern, you already have the best striker in the world (in his own opinion) Bendtner. Yes I'm a gooner and yes you can keep him with pleasure hehe

Indeed, you certainly can't knock Bendtner's self belief, just a shame it doesn't match his ability.

LFC - I'd gladly sell Kujt as I don't see what he brings us with the way we play now.

Definitely need a striker and I'd also like another pacey winger.

Luuk De Jong has also been mentioned but not sure he's the answer....

I'd love to see Podolski mate. Think he's reluctant to move to Arsenal as he wouldn't be a guaranteed starter but he'd walk into our team. Don't think he's over priced either.

Real Madrid seem to be want rid of Granero so he'd be worth a punt. Don't think he'd cost that much. When i watch us I just tink we lack someone who can go in and tackle - Spearing is the closest we have. Rumours seem to be that we can buy him for around 8 million euros.

As for a winger. If we can off load Kuyt for 10 million and that's a very good return on him imo we could put that towards it and go after someone like Hoilett who has a lot more potential to his game.

Would love to see a big money striker/winger but think that will depend on how much we raise as the owners have already splashed out 70 million on Carroll, Downing and Henderson for these positions. One of the Napoli guys would be amazing but can't see them move being in the knock out stages of the Champions League and playing some really good football. Players like Hazzard and Hulk i think are now beyond us.

You sir, are a mentalist. Unless you watch him week in week out, you cannot possibly understand just how completely oil he is. Can can't pass, he can't shoot with any power, he's got no first touch, and he has no awareness of the game in general. Good runner though.

Back-up for Aaron Lenon.

Other than that we're practically perfect in every way.

Kuyt has played at the highest level for a long long time. He scored 13 league goals last season and 7 assists. If we played him as a striker he'd get 10-15 league goals every season. As you've already said his work rate is superb. His link up play and off the ball movement is also very good. We played our best with Kuyt, Maxi and Suarez as a front 3 last season.

You'd do well to get him though as I think if he leaves he'll be off to a Champions League team and prove to be a valuable squad player, his strengths will be particularly valued in a flair type team where his workrate will be valued highly. The fact that he still gets regular playing time this season shows much.
