Why are all ko's at 3 o/clock.

I'm sure everyone wants to watch who will be champions.

I'm sure Spurs, Arsenal and Newcastle fans as well as many more would like to see who gets top 4.

There is soooo much going on with those top 5 teams.

Why not stagger them a bit. 1st KO 12o/c last one at 8o/c.

probably a simple answer, I just don't understand it.

I think you can watch the other games by pressing the red button no?

I would prefer every game, every week, kicked off at 3pm on a Saturday.

The 5.15 kick off of the FA cup last week was a shocker.

You are prob only interested in your manchester game.

3rd-5th place don't want a red button shirly, and are prob interested in your game as well.

Yeah, tis a bit odd especially if you are interested in several teams.

It would make it crap though if for example City won at 1pm, because then Utd playing at 5pm know they wouldn't have a chance and the suspense and anticipation of the game would vanish just like that.
Starting them all at the same time means that it stays a competition until the last second which is MUCH better imo.

It's so it's fair on all teams. No-one gets a lay in or has to get up earlier, no-one knows the exact result of any other game so can play for a draw etc. Same reason all final group games in WC/Euros play at the same time too. I thought everyone knew this?

Personally I prefer it like this, keeps it more exciting.

Good point Shay.

They could do the Manc games at 12 o/c and the other 3rd-5th at 3 o/c.

Apart from relegation games, the rest could fit in anywhere.

Maybe you're right, people need to know times, weeks before.

Because some teams' best interests and strategies will be greatly affected by games elsewhere.

Kick-offs have to be simultaneous on the last day for fairness.

Tis a good point. What about major tournaments, though?

This is what the internet and Sopcast were invented for. Not ideal but it is right that all games kick off at the same time.

Already happens in the World Cup, European Championship and Champions League. In each group, the last two games are held at the same time (even down to delaying the second half kick off for the other match to catch up). Prevents teams playing for the runners-up spot if they perceive it would give them an easier opponent in the next round than finishing top of the group.

Has your question been answered Johnny? THAT's exactly why title decider games are played at the same time.
