Has anyone ever been behind anything similar? I wonder if you can see through them? I'd be pissed off if I'd payed a few quid to watch a match and got stuck behind a 'kin great flag

Also, where does it come from? Does one fan make it, or buy it, himself?

Surely he's never getting it back?
Good points!, can I have those answered too? hehe

big flag picture
I'd guess with the stewards turning a blind eye. A few years ago one of the italian sides' Ultra groups (Lazio I think) smuggled a Lambretta onto the upper tier of the stadium and trew it onto the fans below. And that definitely wasn't in a rucksack.

It wasn't smuggled into the ground and it was Inter fans. They openly dragged it up, set fire to it and then threw it. Stewards are to scared of them to do anything.

It depends on the colour I guess. The Wolves fans used to have something similar back in the 90's. I remember it used to absolutely stink when it passed overhead. Always amazed me that it was able to find the way back to its owner/s.

The Ultras in Italian football have a large say. Lots of events are pre-organised with the club's knowledge. They effectively own the part of the stadium they populate.

Hopefully nobody plugged it because that could be painful.
