Watched the game last night, and yes he scored but wow.

He is completely hopeless. Spends half the game offside, gives the ball away 90% of the time, can't finish, painfully slow, zero work rate and a st attitude.

If Spurs bought in a replacement for him they would be such a force.

The number of time Dembele would pull off something magical then the whole move break down when he passed to Adebayor was comical.

Anyone able nominate a regular starter that comes close to destroying a team as much as Adebayor?

He's now scored 4 goals in all comps this season I think. I've no idea on his wages but they must be near the 100k mark.

It's a fking joke. The guy is a fking joke.

The whole farce about not doing the ACN and then going last minute, then not coming back so Levy having to send a private jet to pick him up.

But yeah, he's awful. Well, he's not, obviously not but he has been this year. His attitude must stink.

I thought his wage was about £150,000 for the duration of what his City contract was with them paying the difference between what Spurs' contract wage is. It's disgraceful. Last few minutes of the game yesterday and he was just strolling around or just sitting on the floor rather than pressurising the Inter defenders. I don't see how AVB has the patience to deal with him.

The very embodiment of what is wrong with the PL. See also any other number of players. Great examples being Robinho, and a little closer to my heart Freddie Kanoute. What a player he was when he didn't have a contract (see his West Ham debut v Wimbledon when Di Canio scored that wonder goal).

I think that we are paying 100k a week & city are paying 70k per week

When he wants he can be unplayable. I suppose we have nobody else as Defoe is total poo too. Will be hard to believe that we may get CL football next season with these two spearheading our attack

Since the start of this year, our 'strike force' have scored a combined total of 1 goal in the EPL...1 goal!!! That was Adebayor on NYD.

Since then, fk all! When you have the likes of Lennon, Bale, Siggy and Dembele in midfield, that is atrocious.

Seriously, we must have the worst strikers in the premiership

At least Dempsey gives you 100% effort, i'd much rather that than watch our two misfits with their hands on their hips for 90 minutes

He was pretty handy in an Arsenal shirt. Surely one of the Stoke orcs are the worst players in the prem (take your pick as to which one)

Wait till he adds in a few red cards too - he was banned for a lot of games at City.

i was shocked at him last night

one goal could either put them thru or KO them - just because he's scored that goal he's there nearer to their goalkeeper than either of his team mates or the opposition!!

arrogance.

He has to be up there. Terrible, arrogant attitude and these days he can't play for st.

Had some good moments at Arsenal but since he left he has been all over the place and taking for granted the quality his wage packet implies he has.

He's no good for the dressing room either. He was causing all kinds of problems at the end of his time with Arsenal.

Glad to see him in a Tottenham shirt.

Agreed he comes with a lot of baggage & i'm the first to slate him, but that goal last night nobody else would have reached so at least he's wages will have been met with his important goal last night

He's still ste though

last night he couldn't control the ball it just bounced off him
he was slow getting back onside which meant we had to wait before we could press forward again
the goal he just slid on his arse and it hit his legs
Defoe was hopeless and did nothing
where would we be if we had a couple of strikers who wanted to pull on the spurs shirt
