I think that PdC will do a good job. Regardless of his previous history, which is why the idiot apparently quit, he did a good job at Swindon Town with limited resources.

A good appointment i think & one that was probably agreed before O'Neill was booted into touch.

I don't agree with his politics at all but why does quitting on a point of principle make him a tt?

Toys out of the pram imo.

Purely personal point of view. Just think its a childish attitude to adopt but typical of politicians these days.

I can't stand most in the labour party but DM has always seemed to have integrity.I'm not suprised that he doesn't wan't to be associated with a self proclaimed fascist.

The bloke is taking charge of a football club, not a political party.

My boss is of a different political idealogy to me - do i care? No. His views are of no concern to me as he doesnt bring them into work so there isnt a problem.

I also work for an Aston Villa season ticket holder - do i care? No because it doesnt affect our working relationship.

I guess it's because he has a lot more freedom to choose who he does and doesn't work with than you.

Why work with cretins or with people whose views you find abhorrent if you don't need to. Di canio may keep them up but he will bring them a whole host of unwanted embarassing publicity to go with it, see Swindon Town for details.

Maybe. We will see what happens. Was/is a purely personal view so best left there I think.

Only last week a footballer was banned from his national team for life for making an identical salute to that if PdC.

I'm no fan of Milliband but if he disagrees with the appointment surely the best way to show this is to do what he has done.

And let's face it.... Latest appointment he's gonna need to be whiter than white

Wasn't really limited. Was a lot of money for the lower leagues hence why they now have a fair amount of debt.

Good on Milliband. He resigns on a point of principle, at a large financial cost to himself. I wish more politicians were this decent.

OP, do you even know the facts. Why is he a tt? I'd resign if a self proclaimed fascist was brought into my firm at a senior level.

Regardless of his history, Ian Huntley was apparently a good school caretaker.

I think his history is actually quite important.

Not that limited. Largest budget in league 2 when they won it. One of the largest in league one when he left.

Milliband probably quit as he knew what a nightmare PDC would be

of all labour party members d milliband is as good as any of them imo.
but this does grate a bit when labour become new labour whilst hiding the fact that they are basically communists, di,canio at least admits freely what his beliefs are.
DMs resignation is nothing more than a political denial of what they really stand for imo, and as said he would have quit when moving to America anyway so why make an issue out of it.
fk off with your bullst politics and keep it away from football.
