First time playing top division football since 1962! Should be good seeing another Welsh team in the EPL.

Im surprised how few comments there are on this thread to be honest. So happy for the long suffering supporters and with Tang offering £25million plus kitty for their first season things are looking good.

Now the question is...where to strengthen?

I feel we could possibly do with a CB and a fullback or two. A pacey right winger and a good solid target man up top. Our CM has looked good and there is depth there. Marshall has alway struck me as somewhat lacking but this season he has really pulled something out of the bag! He is a completely different player! Joe Lewis is a decent keeper and has obviously done a lot for Marshall.

Thoughts?

I'm pleased for Malky. Excellent player for Norwich 10-15 years ago, but we ditched him at exactly the wrong time. IIRC, he had 3 consecutive promotions as a player, but never played in the PL. Maybe one day he'll be back as manager of NCFC at some point in the future.

Congratulations. I do think they will need a striker for next season but they have certainly been very solid.

Nobody likes Cardiff perhaps?? wink

So Tan is going to throw pots of money at keeping you up whilst servicing your massive debt, and Borley says you're the model for a well run football club. Let's hope your not another QPR, Blackburn or Portsmouth.

As someone else said, you've sold your soul to sit at the table, and the meal isn't worth it.

Good effort.

Wouldn't mind us changing our kit from blue to red if it meant we'd get promoted!

The club was in a complete mess but it is getting restructured and yes thanks to Tan we have money. In order to be sucessful you have to have a man with money. Swansea are an obsolute exception and I dont think anyone in the Championship could follow their model and be as sucessful as you guys have been. If we followed your model we would be out of business (thanks to certain former owners). I dont think it was a case of selling our soul. We have the option of going bust and dying OR changing a kit colour. How many clubs still play in the same colour kit as when they were founded? Not as many as you think!

Swansea have the right to feel proud about what they have done and if I was a Swans fan id be shouting about it to everyone but if your owners run your club to the point of collapse would you rather have no team or a man with money trying to make you the best?

Wow calm down! I am actually glad you made it to the premiership although you definitely need to strengthen. Think you need to spend the £20-25 million wisely. And I hope for your sake that Tan doesn't do a Sam hamann.......

Wasnt a pop it was a compliment at how Swansea has suceeded where most other clubs cant and a justification of where Cardiff are now.....oh and Champions too!! Woop!
