I think it highlights the fact that almost anticipating contact can set you off balance.
Difficult to know exactly what Hunt said, but I doubt he admitted to a dive (ref would have booked him?)

This clip is bonkers. Kudos to Fowler for his initial honesty, but why the ref doesn't change his mind is totally beyond me, and then why Fowler didn't deliberately boot the pen wide is the final puzzler.
